WELCOME TO ST JOHN'S WITH ST ANDREW'S PARISH, WATERLOO
We are a central London church with very strong local community connections.
We believe that God is found in predictable and unexpected places in the life of the city, and our worship and life seek to reflect that. We aim to be inclusive - to offer a welcome to everyone who lives, works or passes through this part of London. Our two churches - St John's and St Andrew's near the Young Vic theatre - have at their heart daily worship. Our main service - Parish Eucharist - is at 10.30 on Sundays at St John's, which is opposite Waterloo Station. You would be welcome at this or at any of the other services we hold which are listed on the "services" page.
On Tuesday 23rd February we are launching "The Isaiah Community - prayers for love and justice" at 6pm. Pleas visit the "services" page for further details
For details of "A Silent Revolution" - our Lent course on contemplative prayer - please visit "events" page
We try to work closely with the many community and other organisations in and around Waterloo, especially with the national arts institutions on the South Bank - the National Theatre, the South Bank Centre and the BFI. We are also hosts to several orchestras, including the South Bank Sinfonia - to the Futures Theatre Company, to South Bank Mosaics, to Waterloo Keys and many other organisations.
We have many concerts and recitals, some of which are free - they're listed on the "concerts" page.
Why not come to one of the free lunchtime recitals on Fridays at St John's, meet the staff and take away some booking information? We have several spaces available for hire, seating between 5 and 300 people - Telephone or email for more details.
